Brief Description:  Rigged controls, covers for mass weights

Today, Dean and I dove into the control rigging. Tightened the bolts on the vertical rods, and bell cranks. Remeasured both sides to get neutral and the limits of 13 degrees up and down and so forth. Adjusted the vertical rods to get to the limits both flaps up and flaps down. A lot of back and forth for sure. What we found is that with flaps down (15 degree) one flap is lower than the other. We will need to adjust the horizontal rods that connect to the bell cranks to get them even. Then will adjust the vertical rods again. We also found that we had to expand the banana slots quite a bit as the rod fitting was hitting the skin at the limits and inhibiting further movement. This is where a nibbler comes in handy. Rigging will continue... We ended up glueing the covers for the mass weights. Tried to tap holes for screws in the weights but kept breaking the taps so went to option two.
