Today we bolted on the two pilot side flaperons. The outboard flaperon has a trim tab powered by a Ray Allen servo. Dean drilled a small hole in the trailing edge of the wing and we fished a tape to the access panel. We sent a string back and then brought the servo wire back to the access panel. The whole operation went smoothly. I temporarily installed the two mass weights to the passenger side flaperons. I had taken more material out and they look very much like swiss cheese. Looks like the weights are now correct and the flaperons are balanced. We will construct a sleeve that will go over the weights and we can add shot if need be. Dean plans on getting some plastic noses printed for the weights.
