We had seen that we had a conflict between the top skin and the hinged instrument panel. I thought we might raise the top skin by adding some rubber bumpers where it would be riveted. But Dean had a better idea- just trimming the edge of the top skin where it can just butt against the panel instead of overlapping it. So, we trimmed about an inch off and it does not now conflict with the hinged instrument panel.
