It has been nearly five years since I worked on my Sonex. I started with the idea of scratch building the whole project. As with many things, life has a way of making us re-evaluate some of our decisions. In early November I decided I would buy the tail kit to get the project rolling. I also decided then that I would build the B model rather than the Legacy model. I may still scratch build some of the sections and then purchase the conversion kit. But, I may just buy the full kit.
This evening I drove to the freight carrier and took delivery of my tail kit, drove home and took a quick look to inspect for damages (as the boxes were "dinged up" a little bit), everything was in pristine condition. I will do a more through inventory of the parts in the next day or two to make sure I have everything. But, it looks good so far.
