Cut first piece of Aluminum today. Cut the simplest piece on the drawing which is used to make 1x1 angle out of .025 stock. Practiced using the sheet metal brake that I consturcted ealier. First bend did not go to well. Will have to do some tweaking on the brake. I also cut the 8 ft by 3 in piece with andy snips. I will buy some air shears tommorow. Also learned the importance of carefully reading the plans. I looked at another part and confused the width of the parts. The 3 inch piece that I cut should have been 2 inches.
