Tonight I shaped the main forming block and added the radius using a 1/8" roundover bit that I didn't even know that I had. Radius was added to both sides of the block so I can use it for RH and LH ribs.
Then I shaped the backing block. I added a 1/8" radius to one side to use as a sanding guide. I was able to decrease each edge by an even 1/8" this way. Worked out well.
Both blocks have all jig pin and lightening hole guide holes drilled into them. Even though each blank will already have the Lightening holes routed out, I can use the 1/4" holes for clamping pressure.
