Back from Steelhead fishing trip in Alaska and back to the grind of the left elevator. Previously the parts were organized. Not many parts left under the bench as most of the empennage is done!
Cut all stiffeners, deburred all holes and edges after match drilling to skin. Primed the stiffeners and the skin and backriveted the stiffeners to the skin.
As with the other parts with the skins I sanded lightly with 100 grit emery cloth for dulling the edges. I've determined the skin doesn't react well to agressive deburring at the edges so the emery cloth is sufficient.
