Since I last posted on here, I got a new job in California, and I bought a house, so I finally have my own garage. It still needs a lot of work, but I have gotten it to the point where I can atleast start building again (image 1). I decided to start on a new section since it's been so long since I worked on this. I really didn't feel like spending a day trying to figure out where I left off.
I started working on the rudder. It seemed pretty easy, but it definitely reminded me that this work doesn't seem like it'll take a long time, but it does. The stiffeners were up first. I spent about an hour just trimming the stiffeners. Image 2 is what they looked like after trimming them. I pulled the plastic off and spent the rest of the time drilling, deburring, and dimpling. I'm getting close to where I need to start priming parts, so with the rest of my weekend, I'm going to figure out what primer I'm going to use and where I'm going to buy it. It's a lot harder to figure out than it sounds.

Should have plenty of room, just need more lights and electrical outlets.

Stiffeners trimmed to size.

The end result of today's work. Just need to clean up the edges and I'll be ready to prime.
