Brief Description: Left Side Horizontal Stabilizer
I made it a point to get back out to work on the plane. I've been slacking and always have an excuse.
I cleco'd the main horizontal stabilizer structure together, which was encouraging. It finally looks like something that goes on a plane! I brought the left side horizontal stabilizer skin out. Today was full of lots of drilling and clecoing. Tomorrow, I hope to work on the right side of the horizontal stab. After I that is completed, I can start to move on to preparations for priming and riveting.
Start of the day. Basic structure was cleco'd together.
All the ribs and spars are drilled. Next up, match drilling the the rest of the holes in the skin.
The end of the day. Getting a picture of me in there with the horizontal stabilizer in the background
