More work on the Pyklon:
- Obtained the "extra" parts from PA to fabricate/install the Inspection Cover.
This is one of those :"Gottcha" areas.
The new LSA plans, assume that you will have a drilling template to layout all of the rivet and flap horn holes, as they have at the factory.
Obviously, I don't have that template and it really isn't a big deal to lay-out hole patterns on my own.
Except that, if you plan to use the "optional" parts from PA for the Inspection Cover, they come pre-drilled, assuming that you used the aforementioned template.
So, I basically had to fabricate my own cover,.
None of these parts related to the cover, cover support structure, and Pylon Channels are included with the kit. Not overly complicated parts, and in fact, would be relatively easy to make,,
Just a decision one has to make to balance the time vs convenience & cost.
