Saw a post from a Serey builder on the STS site where he installed the ELT antenna on/inside the radiator cowl. I kind of liked the idea, and after considering my options, decided to go with it.
Turned out to be a bit more challenging than originally thought, due to the swept-back nature of the AmeriKing 406 ELT antenna.
Anyway, I managed, and I am pleased with the location.
