Brief Description:  Primer Bulb & Brake Remote Reservoir Bracket

Another frustrating day of LSA/LSX manual conficts & confusion.

Seems that my delay in mounting the fuel tank (due to the back-ordered Fuel Tank Strap), comes with a hidden blessing:

There are several locations on the aft face of the top main bulkhead crosstube, that require drilling & tapping for miscellaneous brackets. This would have been a real challenge if the fuel tank was permanently installed. Even without the fuel tank, it proved to be a little challenging because I had previously installed the Forward Fuel Tank angle, which is riveted to the bottom of the Boom Tube.

So I had to work around the angle,, tough but doable.

Again, this could have been easily remedied if I had the correct manual, ahead of time. The LSX manual that came with my kit makes no mention of these steps.

So, I managed to install the Fuel Primer Bulb, and the BrakeRemote Reservoir mount bracket, per LSA Sections 2.6 & 4.2.

Speaking of the manual situation:

After lookingthrough and comparing the different versions, I have concluded that the delivered LSX manual is completely out of date,, and in some cases, just flat wrong.

Seems that I will have to retrace everything I have done to date, and check with the LSA manual. Case in point:

The MLG actuators.
There are detailed preperatory steps that involve setting of the Internal Limit Switches, which must be done on the bench. My original LSX manual makes no reference to these steps,, so guess what,,?

Off they come.

It's really a good thing, because I have found, after additional manual comparisons, that there are conflicting hardware callouts for the MLG actuator mounting, even the Diagonal Tubes!.

Here is my "revised, REVISED" procedure:

I am going to politely close, and stow the LSX manual, and rely completely on the LSA version.
The LSX has done nothing but offer me setbacks & delays.

In the meantime, I will ask (politely), that PA send me a hard-copy version of the LSA manual.
I do have the complete LSA manual onmy iPhone & iPad, bu
