Brief Description:  First rivets! Assembling the HS

I bought a pneumatic rivet squeezer from Avery and was dying to try it out. I put together the center elevator hinge/bearing assembly and riveted it together! Cool only 15000 to go! I began the assembly of the HS. I riveted the spars and doublers together along with the elevator hinge brackets. Clecoed and riveted the nose ribs to the skin, followed by the front spar/ rib assembly. You can rivet in a couple of the main ribs (the ones that don't have a nose rib using the same rivets). I left the two main ribs off of the ends of the assembly to allow greater access to rivet the spars and ribs to the skins. That's a trick that sure helps with the exception of riveting the inboard rib to the spar. Those 3 rivets are a pain to get right given the angle the rib sets to the spar.
