Brief Description:  First attempt at spraying primer

After several weeks hiatus for personal reasons and taken up with other domestic projects - as well as the dreaded work - it was finally back to the aircraft again today.

Having never spray painted anything before (sheltered life...) I'd been nervous about this, but although not perfect, in the end I don't think the results were too bad.

I mixed up only 80 ml of paint to try out the process and techniques, and that was just enough to do the VS ribs following a test on the scrap HS vertical stabiliser that I'd messed up a while ago.

After roughing up the surface of each part with a Scotchbrite pad, I washed each in Deoxydine 234, rinsing off with clean water. After helping out the drying with a heat gun, it was then time to get going with the spray booth.

Satisfyingly OK, I think, and a great confidence booster.
