Brief Description: Dimpled VS skeleton and (most of) VS skin
Yep - building on Christmas Day!
My wife and Mother-in-Law were watching 'Poirot' on the TV, so I esacaped to the Garage for a while to finish deburring the VS skeleton and skin, followed by firing up the compressor to use a dimple die set in the pneumatic squeezer to dimple the flanges of the spars and ribs, as well as some of the holes where the spar attaches to the spar doubler. These holes take rivets that need flat heads because they sit where the VS will eventually butt up against the fuselage.
I've really been putting off the issues associated with priming, but I won't be able to that for much longer. There's more family stuff that'll take up the next few days, but hopefully I'll manage to get down to this before I go back to work after the New Year.
