Brief Description: Finish L rear spar prep & mark ribs
The rear spar has a few remaining tasks to be undertaken before the components are ready to prime and assemble, and most of these were completedthis evening. The rivet holes in the flange by the inboard stiffening fork will be difficult to drill to size and dimple once the fork i in place, so these are done now. There are a number of rivets in the aileron hinge assemblies that require prparing for flush heads by dimpling or countersinking. These need carefully identifying (it would be very easy to get them wrong) and the dimple or c/s done.
The final task for tonight was to get the 14 main ribs for teh Left wing together, and marking themj for position and orientation. Normally I mark cmponents with an ultra-fine blue Sharpie pen, bt for these I have used a honking great thick black one - so that there will be no doubt whihc one goes where!
