Brief Description: Prepare for back drilling tiedowns
This should have been a simple and rapid task, and until near the end it was. Unfortunately, I hadn't clamped the tiedown and spacers firmly enough on the second assembly, which resulted in the spacer moving without me noticing and the hole ending up in the wrong place on the spacer and - more annoyingly - the tiedown extrusion itself.
The reason that's annoying is because I have enough stock bar for another spacer, but the extrusion is scrap and a new one needsw ordering from Van's. I've done that, plus a few more bits and pieces, and it should be with me in a couple of weeks.
Meh.
That's wrong - it should but up against the bronzed spar. :-(
