Brief Description: Prep'ing LH elevator skin & skeleton
Today was a round of dimpling, deburring and countersinking the LH elevator skeleton and skin, as well as a fun hour or so offering up the pitch trim servo to its position in the LH elevator, ensuring that it works properly, and considering whether building exactly to the plan dimensions is good enough.
It wasn't - the servo will move 1/16" inboard in order to more cleanly clear the holes in the skin - this seems to be similar to the experiences of other builders reporting on the web.
