Brief Description: Rivet upper rudder skin to structure
Tonight was spent riveting the counterbalance skin to the upper ribs of the rudder, enclosing the counterbalance weight permanently.
The pneumatic squeezer really does make light work of this, once set up. The only thing is that, even with the "no holes" yoke in the squeezer the aft two rivets on the upper rib are difficult to get at.
I'll have another go in the morning, but I suspect I'll need to set them with the rivet gun and a thin bucking bar - I've a cold chisel which should be just the thing to press into service for that.
