The straightness of the trailing edge of any control surfae will dave a direct effect on the way the aeroplane eventually flies.
Consequerntly it is important to take the time to ensure that it is as stright as humanly possible, and as part of that, one starts by matchdrilling and clecoing one of the rudder skins to a piece of sacrificial aluminium angle, which acts as a straight jig for construction of the rudder.
