Today was spent unpacking and inventorying the wing kit boxes, which is another opportunity to marvel at the packing skills Van's employees deploy. Those two big wooden boxes are absolutely stuffed, and the way everything fits is a work of art.
I'd already put appropriate labels on to my storage drawers and shelves - preparation is a key skill in this building lark - and so it was simply (Hah!) a question of unpacking everything, including bags and bags of rivets, and putting each set of components into its assigned place.
The amount of packing paper left over was impressive - as was the bonfire later (once I'd double-checked that it was ONLY paper in the pile...
