I finally decided how to install the flapper valve for the cabin heat. There is a 3" outlet on the exhaust system, same as on the flapper valve. I made an adapter shown in Photo 1. I left about 1/8" between the ends so that the band clamps could have some room to work. Photo 2 shows the valve installed on the exhaust. I will be watching the clamps closely to make sure they do not work loose.
Photo 3 are the nut plates for the skid hold down bolts. These attach to the bottom of the angle brackets so that I don't need a backup wrench.
