Finally back at it. Spoke with NORDAM this week and they have finished the bubble. Actually they finished it a few weeks ago and neither of us was available. We had a nice day here so I decided to try to finish up on the trailer.
Photo 1 is the modified loading ramps. I welded 1/4" diamond plate to the existing ramps so that the wheels of the ship could roll up the ramps. Photo 2 shows the blade support "hook". The blade clamp will slide over the long horizontal portion.
Photo three shows the support for the blade support. I welded the cross braces in between the legs primarily because I am going to mount a winch on the top for pulling the ship up the ramps.
I will need to have the ship on the trailer before cutting the blade support to length. I also need the blades on the ship in order to make the rear blade support.
I also got all the clamps removed from the bubble. Tomorrow I hope to have a buddy help me remove the bubble. I will drive to Tulsa next week to pick up the new one.
