Brief Description:  Build Engine Stand and Engine lift

I decided to make the engine stand out of steel tubing because of the need for the bolts at the top. My old MIG decided not to work, so Christmas came early. I bought a Miller 211. Works with both 110v or 220v and welds up to 3/8". For $200 more I could get a spool gun for aluminum, but I still like to TIG aluminum, as long as I am not in a hurry. Man is it fast.

I actually built the engine lift before I boungt the MIG. I stick welded it. Unfortunatley all of my rods were old and not kept in the oven. The flux coating was pretty well shot so my welds are not too pretty. Maybe I will buy some 7011 rods and just cover them up.
