Brief Description:  Install Main Transmission

Got back from a few days at OshKosh. Got to fly the new rotor head and see the collective friction. The rotorhead appears to be a big improvement. Higher RPM, smoother, larger disk etc. Need to try to make a deal on one. Spent quite a bit of money on things I did not know I needed. Bought a set of SnapOn Safety Wire pliers. Ridiculously expensive but has a plastic insert that keeps the cut end from flying across the room or into the deepest bowels of the engine. I already had one event like that, no more.

I also go to talk to the MGL Avionics and Vertical Power guys about the startup of my avionics. Very helpful.

Enlisted some help to install the transmission. All went smoothly until I noticed that one of the supports was not completely welded. I will need to weld it up and repowdercoat. The factory welder must have had a bad week. See Photo #2
