This writeup represents the culmination of months and hundreds of balancing runs on the ship. I have heard that you can't make a Safari smooth, but after a lot of work and expertise supplied by Matt Dock I believe I have the smoothest Safari in the world.
As an introduction Matt Dock is a Mechanical Engineer and partner in Dyna Vibe. This is vibration analyisis equipment that is affordable and cutting edge when compared to most of the stuff that is out there. Matt has made numeraous trips to Wichita to help out with this effort and it has paid off.
Jumping to the conclusion, Photo 1 is a screen shot of my last balancing run. This is the Lateral Vibration in flight at about 85 mph. This is an averaged number over about 15 seconds of sampling not some cherry picked value. Yes the value is 0.00ips. No I did not rerun it at the time but I will. The vertical value was .14 ips.
I have also gotten to where there is very little difference in the balance with the tanks full or empty.
