Brief Description:  Got er done

Got it on by myself this morning. I was up all night wondering if the thing would even fit. The sheet metal is built around the bubble and there is no effective way to determine how close the bubbles are to each other. The procedure:

1. No clips in rear
2. Install clips in front
3. the rearmost/front clips will not reach
4. Install long 1" to 1 1/4" screws for those clips
5. Rotate the clips so that the longer screws can get started
6. Tighten screws

The nutplates in the clips were as much as 1/2" too high. The longer screws allowed for a longer reach by angling them upwards.

The bad news is interference with the center control rod. The rear sheet metal got pushed back about 1/4". This should not be a huge deal to fix. Also several of the rear clips are now too long.

The good news is that this bubble fits much better than the last one. I won't use any rubber moldings to cover the gaps between sheet metal and bubble.
