Brief Description:  Oil Tank Breather

Finally figuered out what to do with the oil tank breather. I bought another billet breather just like the one I used on the transmission. Once again I had to turn down and weld on an adapter. Photo 1 shows the adapter and the breather separately. Photo 2 shows them welded together.

Photo 3 shows the final install. There is an adel clamp on the breather that joins another one on the frame. This leave a little clearance between the top of the breather and the frame, as well as clearance between the hose and fuel flow meter. I will probably put a piece of clear tubing on the hose to keep it from rubbing in flight.

Notice on the bottom lip of the breather I have drilled a hole and installed safety wire to prevent the top from unscrewing.
