Brief Description:  Install Oil Cooler and Lines

I worked all day today and not sure that I got much done. I got the oil lines on as you can see in the first two pictures. Not hard but time consuming. I don't have my exhaust so I sure hope they fit. On the bottom I used 45 degree fittings.

I also found out that I ordered several wrong AN fittings and they shorted me two that I really needed to intall the oil tank. The tank is ready to go pending getting the parts they shorted me. There is one fitting (7/8" dia) on the tank that I do not know where it goes. Maybe I should have looked at the instructions.

Speaking of looking at the instructions, look at my throttle linkage in the last Photo. This is how I assumed that it should go. With the rear linkage horizontal at sensitivity is high at idle and low at high rpm. Unfortunately that is not the way it is designed. The linkage should point down at some angle at idle. It will be about horizontal (position in the picture) at high power. This position will make the throttle more sensitive at high rpm. Not necessarily my choice, but seems to work and the governor should not care.

Why do I bring this up. Naturally I cut the rod too short. Crap time to order another. I bet the instructions talk about this. Maybe I will look it up tomorrow while putting together my order for more AN fittings.
