Made pretty good progress. I think I am through with the engine hook up wiring. I need to install my exhaust (waiting on the new Power Flow version) so that I can install the EGT probes. I added two eyeball penetrations today to carry the EGT and CHT theromocouples. Each will have 2 EGT 2 CHT and one temp sensor (carb or oil). The thermocouples were not long enough to reach the RDAC box so I had to make extensions. Should have taken a picture but I didn't. They are really pretty nice. Will need to make more for the EGTs so maybe I will take a picture then.
I cannot clean up the wiring finally until I get the EGTs in place. You can see my plan of attack for the wire runs behind the seats. I laced the bundles together then laced them to the frame. The big loop is the headset wiring.
Also found a major suprise with tracking down the wiring I mentioned yesterday on the oil pressure switch. There are two switches, the one on the bottom has a potentiometer that sends the actual pressure while the one at the top is the "idiot light" version. My tags had faded on the top one so I went back to trace one of the wires to ground. I found the wire in my ground block but what I also found was that the terminals of the block were not wired together. I ASSUMED that all the terminals went to ground, nope they are simply shorted one to the one across from it. I will need to make jumpers to connect them all together. SIGH. PITA
