Brief Description:  Engine Dry Sump Conversion

I picked up all my powder coating yesterday with the intent of installing the engine this weekend. LOL. Started with the sump block off plate and the intake mainifold. Crap I cannot find 4 of the sump bolts. They are gone no idea where. I need to get the "upright stuff" done before working on the accessory case stuff. Crap wait till Monday. Don't want to go the the BORG (big orange retail giant) to buy some Taiwainium bolts.

Ok so let's do the skids. I want the skids on the ship before the engine gets installed. I had read in several place about what a pain this will be so I have been dreading it. I got some help line up in case I need it. I have the phone number of Sunnen in case I need to add to my hone collection. The auto supple place has tail pipe expanders. So let's go.

Finished! They just slid in. I put some grease in the receivers and just slid them in. No kidding. Could not have been easier. I guess the factory addressed the problem.

Now seems to be a good time to install the "firewall". Found two places that need nut plate that I forgot.

Reinstalled the powder coated control rods with the newly loosened ends.

Nothing worthy of pictures.
