Eventually I will get this thing finished. Image 1 shows it mounted but without rivets. Inside I have 3/4" angle extrusions on the floor back edge and top. Yes it is V shaped, this was part of my problem. It needs to be narrow enough at the bottom to clear the pedals, and wide enough at the top to support.
The bottom is 2 1/4 " the top is 4"
The 3/4" angle will that nut plates so that the rear panel will be removeable adn thereby allowing removal of the entire assembly. Unfortunately I need some longer rivets to hold the nut plates.
Speaking of nut plates I put two in the lip of the battery box. I counter sunk the top for two screwes. Pictures 2 & 3
