Took some pictures earlier of another ship to determine where to make the holes for the collective on the pilot side. Finally quit procrastinating and did it. The first picture shows the result.
I actually had to make it closer to the seat side when I finally assembled it. Not much room for rivets, certainly not the 2 x diameter that is normal. Fortunately this is not a highly stressed area.
The second picture show a hard plastic tube that I inserted up the collective to protect the wiring. It is 1/2" OD and fairly thin wall. It has "Anhydrous Amonia" printed on the outside. I am using printer cable for the collective wiring because I need so many conductors.
