Brief Description: Update to internet after 5 months
Udating to the Internet after a few months of intermittent work.
All the fabric is complete with the first coat of Ekofil. Built a spray booth, actually the same one I used to paint my RV-10 except reduced in size. I gave it away after that paint job but got it back for this one. It will be cut down in length after the fues, wings and flaps are painted.
First photo shows the wings with the Rotax ULS which arrived yesterday. Third photo shows the paint plan for the rear of the fues. put on by eye just to see how it will work. Will be a 4" square checkerboard on the fin anflowing forward to the N numbers (the paint mask is taped on the fues.) The colors are Corvette yellow for the basic aircraft and Pontiac Red for the trim. The checkerboard will fade from the red/yellow squares to almost yellow at the N number with a red stripe continuing to the cowl. the 7" N number (N796S) will be red. My three aircraft have been N5596S, 596S, 996S and now 796S. (Glider competition number is 96S.)
