Brief Description:  Catch up

Been bad, missed a bunch of logs, life and other things including a two day trip on the major airlines.

Had a problem with the fuel tank, drilled the top tap too high and the top would not fit. Had to ream out the hole, make a new piece from the fuel cap cutout and find a glue that will work with high densite polyethalene, or whatever the tanks are made of. Tap Plastics has a glue that they claim to work, but with snow on the ground for over a week in Oregon, they took 8 days for a second day deliver y. It got here and then was tested and it works. Have to flame treat the plastic before the glue, but did the repair and it is good, or better than the original.

Put in the lines for the Dynon static/AOA and then the probe when it arrived five days late and hooked up the tubes. Built a platform in the wing for the ADHARS device and put in the cable from DYNON (delayed).

Riveted the bottom root skin on and then connected the bottom fuel level tap with a aluminum tube rather than the two fittings and rubber tube in the plans. Much better. Now finially got the double sided acrylic tape for the top of the wing wrap ribs ordered after finding out it is an automotive body supply shop type of ting.
