Brief Description:  Rivet ribs, start root skins

Completed riveting all the stiffeners and ribs. Drilled the bellcrank rib support and riveted.

Started working on the root skins. Marked as appropriate and set up and dimpled both skins. Used Old Fairthful dimpler, built it from bedframe angles in 1996, built the -6A, loaned it to a guy who built a -9 and then used it on my RV-10. Now it is getting a Rans.

Riveted the stiffeners on the upper root skin. Some rivet mandrels started breaking off slightly above the rivet head. Serviced the puller and it made mo difference. Cut down the air pressure and it may have helped. Then read Glenn's S-20 build on RansClan where he noted the same thing with these rivets. Must be the countersunk rivets. They don't fit real well in the dimples, wish I had enough solid rivets to do these. Back riveting solid rivets is fast and makes a perfect top. As I keep saying to myself, it ain't a Vans or fiberglass ship, its a LSA, live with it.
