Turkey day is tomorrow for me. Made 18 spacers out of West system epoxy to provide a block where the single rib stitch is placed on the elevators and rudder. The tube that the stitch is made to is 3/8" and the leading edge is 3/4" tube. As a result the fabric will be pulled into the rib resulting in not a straight line of fabric from the LE to TE of the surfaces.
Made a mold and cast 12" of spacer. Cut it up into 5/8" long pieces that will be glued to the rib and then the top sanded down with a long block to be flush with the top of the LE and TE. Then the stitch will go around the block and not pull the fabric in . Need to do somewhat the same for the trim servo mounts that are below the fabric line.
Started making six pieces to go where the hinges are on the moveable services for the fabric to attach. Will result in a clean line at the hinge.
