Figured out how to deal with the elevator trim speed. Will mount a microswitch that will close when the flaps are between -3 and +3. The switch will reduce the voltage to the elevator trim servo thru a speed reducer that Ray Allen sells for that purpose. When the flaps are further down than that, the trim will go back to full voltage. Found a good microswitch in the junk box.
Drained the right tank and removed the fuel sender. Made a couple of tries with the tool. This will be interesting. I will make a mockup of the thing tomorrow to practice getting the wrench on the nut inside the tank. Photos of my hand in the area to work and the tool.
