Brief Description:  Magneto, nutplates, cowl-plenum

Checked out the magneto grounding. Found that I did not put in a jumper to ground the left (only remaining) magneto when starting. It is not an impulse so needs to be out of the start circuit when cranking. Removed 10" Skyview and the mag. switch and insalled a jumper. Put all back.

Replaced the two bad nutplates on the tail fairing. The baffeling material on the upper cowl did not have the clearance to the plenum. Redid the baffle by cutting 3/8" off the cowl and redrilling the baffle materil clamp. Now it goes on easily but still will seal.

Snow has not melted, roads are barely passable and the city of Salem is requiring chains. This area is just as bad, they do not plow the roads and we had 12" of snow over three days with the temperature never going over 28 degrees. Still can't get out of the house to pick up more fuel, or milk. Temps are now about 34.Looks bad for my mineral oil delivery, but it is Ok, cant get the -10 out of the hanger.
