Completed assembly of right door except for glueing in pins. Put on plane and drilled holes in fues for pins. This one seemed to want to stay on the ground. About everything fought me in the assembly. Finally got it about right, couple of things to do like the lock.
Put on left door and checked closure, works great, fits works smoothly. Except ... with the standard Vans door system the outside handle only rotates 90 degrees, with the Plane Around it goes 180. Which means the outside handle has to go over the lock. Well, it does not, by about 1/16".
Started making two plates to mount inside the door skin, photo 3, that will allow insetting the lock about 1/8". Whenever you leave the plans, life slows down.
