Brief Description: Sand window frames, front sheet metal
Sanded filler around windows. Removed the edge tape from one cabin window. Gave a very sharp line. Total thickness on the window was .012 which is a small bump when running the finger over the glass. Hope the fiberglass is thick enough to prevent cracking over the window glue line.
Did some additional filling where necessary. Removed the cabin top to get access to the inside. Clecoed on the front skin. Put a very slight bend into the edge of the sheets to get a good fit with the other sheet. The sheet should have had some roll at the factory, it is very stiff and fights getting down on the edge. Marked the rivets were it will be necessary to use pops, the row above the radio stack is impossible to buck.
Tapered the edge of the hendhold stiffeners. This is ready to rivet, question is, am I ready.
Removed both control sticks to provide access for the rivet bucker and to fit the Aerosport front interior panels.
