Brief Description: Tailcone Start assy, back rivet bottom
Completed all the minor assembly before starting the complete tailcone.
Plan to back rivet everything possible. Will use the basic sequence that was used to put it together. Riveted 3 formers to bottom skin with stiffeners in place. Temporary support of the formers was with tie wire and a stiffiner. Riveted all stiffeners to bottom.
Almost finished when back rivet set made a strange sound and then bent a rivet over. Turns out it broke at the pin that goes thru below the spring. Nice living in an Airpark. Neighbor across the street had a back rivet set he was not using.
Put on one side skin and riveted it to the bottom skin. Riveted the curved section by hand.
