Installed the strobe/run light in the rudder fairing. Wired and tested bolted in for real.
Started on the emp. fairing. Sure fits a lot better than my -6 in '98. Some areas will need some glasswork around the front of the stab but it will wait til the fly off period when weather keeps me inside. Drilled most of the holes to locate it.
Got a second quote on insurance, ten hours without coverage and 75% more, thanks but no thanks. Heard from my local RV trainer and it looks like he can do me without a problem. Weather may be an issue, but will think of sometime in the next two weeks.
