Brief Description:  Fuel tank test WINGS ON

Tested both fuel tanks for leaks. Did not appear to be any, perhaps the left went down very slightly. We will see.

Put the last nutplates on the wings. Moved almost everything in the hanger to a different location to make room for the -10. There is room, designed the hanger for two RVs and the glider trailer, but when it comes time to do it, it gets tight.

The fog cleared around 11:00 for the first time in about a week, sun was shining so the hanger door came open. Great opening for the next job.

Put the wings on. With the help of three neighbors (airparks are great), positioned both wings and the fues. The wings went on very easily and the drift pins barely needed any hammer action to go in place. Ended up with three or four of the small bolts or drift pins in each wing.

The rear spar holes are almost alligned, about half a hole off, easily moved into exact location. It appears that the fuel lines are about right and can be done with the wings on. I checked thru the rest of the wing on section and it appears the wings are on for flight. With the -6A in the hanger, it is tight to get around, but I might be able to move things slightly and put on the tail in this position.

DAMN, THIS IS A BIG AIRPLANE!
