Brief Description:  Windshield fairing, firewall forward kit, vent con

Sanded the windshield fairing filler down with #36. Came out very good, some slight bumps removed with finer paper and then finished with #80. Removed 1 layer of electrical tape on top and the single layer on the bottom. Mixed some filler and filled the small imperfections.

Vans called and the firewall forward kit was ready to pick up. Drove up and picked it up, 4 boxes and some loose things. Got it home and did parts check. Discovered it had a MT governor rather than Hatrzel. Called and found I had not done something right on the order and will either ship it back or take it in and get the correct one.

Also found out that my prop has shipped and that the motor will ship about 8/26. Far better than the 8-10 weeks on the website. Won't be ready then, but will be nice to have it.

With the FWF kit here, decided to put in the vent controls. Installed in the airframe, had to get under the panel to install and was glad everything else (almost) is done under there.

My bucker is available tomorrow, so we will do the rear cabin skin, the last major rivet job on the airframe.
