Trimmed bottom of windshield and placed it on the fues. Made 6 clips to hold it and mounted one near the center. Marked the top and trimmed. Marked the sides and trimmed. Was good news, only one more minor trim was required. Sanded the edge and then scraped with a sharp knife which restores the edge to a polished surface.
Got out my Ultrasuade material for the glareshield. I used the same stuff in the -6A and it is as good as the day I put it in. Trimmed it roughly and then put the windshield back on and marked the inside edge plus a little. If it goes under the glass, no problem. Cut it to shape and started taping for the adhesive. Ran out of tape.
The Sikaflex just shipped today, so the windshield glue job will not start for at least 4-5 days. Van's charged my credit card for the motor and prop deposit today.
