Brief Description:  Trim windows, test caulk method, set up window

Cut the three remaining windows down to size and trimmed. Sanded the inside of the cabin left rear window to get a better fit. Took a lot off the front at the point of max. curve. Put masking tape over the inside and outside of the windows around the edges. Can remove a single strip at a time to expose a small amount of plexi. Made a bunch of clips to hold the windows in position.

Sikaflex shows how to put down the gluel to get a air free connection. You need to make a triangular bead of the glue. When the plexi is pressed down it spreads (third photo) evenly without any gaps.

Used a tube of building caulk to test out the method. You need to cut the end off square so about 1/4" of opening shows. You then cut a opening in one side at 45 degrees. The caulk gun is held vertical with the tip against the material and the opening opposite the direction of travel. It produces a very nice triangular bead. Pressing the plexi into the bead spreads it without air gaps.

Needed a new Sharpie to mark the inside of the window to locate the electrical tape you install to prevent the gule and primer from making a mess. Tomorrow a window??
