Brief Description: Main wire cables, build and test
Flew out to breakfast with the wife. Back by 11.
Built both main cables that run from the Skyview 10" and 7" to my homemade hub. Did 25 new wires and made 75 Dsub pin connections and plugged them into the appropriate Dsubs.
Removed the hub from the aircraft and plugged in both connectors. Did a pin by pin check of each connector making sure that each wire was run correctly and at the same time testing the connections made on the printed circuit board to the distribution 9 pin Dusbs. Checked out the Transponder, ADSB, GPS, Audio, power in and spare Dsub pinouts.
Could not believe it, but everything was correct!!
Tomorrow is brunch, 15 Young Egles and then installing the Skyviews and starting lighting up the system.
