Brief Description: Front panel jack, radio cut-out and wire panel
Wired 15 pin connecton on the back bulkhead that contains all the wires for things that are mounted on the panel, the ignition switch and 4 warning lights.
Cut out the hole for the new Dynon radio in the front panel. Did not drill mount holes or install nutplates, did not have 2 lub 6/32 nutplates. Hard to cut out because it is such a small cutout, too big to drill out and file, to small for a jig saw. Used the Fein with metal blades.
Wired up the ignition switch and the 4 warning lights. Put on airplane and determined length of the wires to the plug. With this arrangement, the front panels are completely removable from the aircraft to provide access to all the stuff mounted and wiring. Almost nothing is behind the bulkhead behind the panel. No need to crawl under this panel to work on it.
