Worked rudder tip fairing til it fit in corner. Added some micro yesterday to get it large enough. Installed with rivets. Fitted fintop fairing in place and sanded the foam to get the required clearance. Glassed face of fairing. Can complete this tomorrow.
Used nutplate rivets in every other bottom rudder fairing attach point. Too many places for screws. Put nutplates in the ramainder of the holes. Has six screws, enough.
Cut out a platform from the tailcone/emp box top to fit in rear of fues. Filled with pillows before putting in platform, it should be wonderful working back there. Prepared all the parts to put in the static lines, fittings, clamps and made a bracket for static line "T". Gathered tools for the trip in tomorrow. I am 6' 4" and this is not fun. Also will attach the rear seat safety belt cable. If I am lucky, could make it in one try. Will need the platform again for final closure.
